S & S Steel is a steel service center specializing in slitting narrow width coils from mild carbon steel(1008-1010). We focus on widths from ½" to 5.00" for the stamping and rollforming industries.

Our inventory ranges from .020 up to ¼" in thickness. We have over ten(10) million pounds on our floor at any given time of:

• Hot rolled
• Hot rolled pickled & oiled
• Cold rolled
• Coated products

We are located in Central Indiana, the number one steel producing state in the country. Using our own fleet of trucks and common carriers, we ship in the Mid-West region. Our equipment consists of:

• Six slitting lines
• Three edge conditioning deburring coil lines (up to 6" wide)
• Three cut to length lines (6" wide-up to 20’ long) for strips
• 5 shears for sizes up to 96 width and 144 long
• 1 leveling line

Our company was built with the philosophy of providing the best service anywhere. We pride ourselves on finding a way to get the job done. Rush orders are sometimes shipped in less than 24 hours. We operate two production shifts which give us the flexibility to squeeze in "emergency jobs".
